Children’s Health Education Center’s Teen Health Crew transforms high school students into leaders. Experiences provided allow teens to give back to their community, develop skills they will use throughout their lives and earning scholarships.
Teen Health Crew was awarded the National Association of Health Education Centers' Innovative Project Award and has received widespread endorsement from teens, parents and educators alike.
Teens who apply and are selected to be in the program receive training that prepares them to assist health educators in delivering positive health and wellness messages. As peer educators, Teen Health Crew members co-teach programs that address healthy decision making, building positive relationships and practicing nonviolence.
