I love teaching at CHEC! I get to meet many different kids of all different ages from many different schools. Each and every class brings a new experience. I learn something new everyday, especially from those little ones. A few of my favorite things are my family and friends, softball, running and chocolate! I love to eat all kinds of fruits and vegetables, but my favorites are carrots or apples, dipped in some peanut butter.

As an educator for almost 25 years, it is quite evident that I love teaching and all the joys that come with it! When I’m not following my passion, you might see me motorcycling around the city, bowling, or enjoying my favorite hobby – scrapbooking!

My three greatest loves are teaching, my family and my Golden Retriever, Lambeau. When I'm not teaching you may find me in my van driving one or all three of my daughters to and from school or to one of their many extra-curricular activities. My idea of a good time is staying home with my husband watching a rented movie and eating popcorn, with my dog curled up at my feet.

My ideal day would be waking up and watching the Today Show, going to work out, reading a little bit and maybe going for a walk.My favorite healthy food is broccoli, but I also love ice cream! My favorite subject to teach at CHEC is human growth and development.

I love teaching about how to make healthier choices! My work in health education has been interesting and rewarding, as I meet awesome people who care about others. I learn so much while I’m teaching! When not working, I like to read and watch TV while snuggling with my pets; a cat named Wienie, my turtle, Louis and feisty iguana called Pete. I also like to work on crafts and art projects. I love all things colorful and sparkly!
