What is the background of the health educators that teach the programs?
All of our health educators have different backgrounds. Some of our health educators used to work in schools as classroom teachers. We have nurses that educate for us.
Some of the specific college degrees that our educators have include Community Health Education major, Public Health major, Marketing majors and Communication majors. All of our health educators enjoy working with children and have a passion for health.

We do not have specific volunteer opportunities at Children’s Health Education Center but we do have our Teen Health Crew which is a great program for high school students. Check it out.
