Safe Kids USA - Looking for information on car seats, bike helmets or other information on injury prevention? Safe Kids is a global network of organizations whose mission is to prevent accidental childhood injury, a leading killer of children 14 and under.

Centers for Disease Control - The national Centers for Disease Control is one of the pre-eminent public health institutions in the world. Its Web site provides information on all aspects of health for adults, teens and kids.

National Institutes of Health - The National Institutes of Health, a part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, is the primary federal agency for conducting and supporting medical research.

U.S. CPSC Toolkits - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has launched electronic toolkits in a wide variety of risk areas, such as drowning and carbon monoxide prevention. The toolkits are part of the Neighborhood Safety Network, a public information service to inform grassroots safety programs. We encourage you to check the CPSC's website frequently for new materials.

The Home Safety Council - The Home Safety Council® (HSC) is the only national nonprofit organization solely dedicated to preventing home related injuries that result in nearly 20,000 deaths and 21 million medical visits on average each year. Through national programs, partnerships and the support of volunteers, HSC educates people of all ages to be safer in and around their homes.

Children’s Health Alliance of Wisconsin - The Alliance is Wisconsin’s voice for children’s health. The Alliance influences public policy, raises awareness and promotes best practices. Their goal is to improve the health of Wisconsin children. Their work centers around a number of key initiatives, such as asthma, childhood injury prevention and death review, lead poisoning, and oral health.
