 Sponsored by the Faye McBeath Foundation, CHEC’s Health In Practice Careers series offers valuable insight into the field of health care. Offered as a Kohl’s Healthy Kids outreach program or used in conjunction with your school’s career/high interest days, the programs delve into areas that offer opportunity and growth for students who are interested.
With the help of video interviews with real health care professionals, interactive activities and CHEC’s Kohl’s Healthy Kids educators, students discuss a variety of health occupations specific to the general field chosen. Adding to the discussion are topics such as the education required and how to prepare for the given career while still in high school.
